From the Chair’s Office

Dear Colleagues,

As the year comes to an end I want to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication over the past 12 months. I am immensely proud of the TTC and truly appreciate your contribution to our organization’s renewal.

It took 91 years of hard work by you and your predecessors, substantial financial contributions by customers and taxpayers, and a commitment to public transit to build the TTC. My fellow Commissioners, management and I will continue to protect and preserve the great attributes of the organization. We will re-evaluate things, which are not helping us move forward. The investments that we are making in our infrastructure and our new management culture will continue to strengthen our organization.

I believe, collectively, we are truly on the right path. With your continued strong efforts we will achieve our mission to be a transit system that makes Toronto proud.

Again, thank you very much for all your hard work in 2012. I look forward to working with you in 2013.
