Byford tours Bombardier facility

On tour in Thunder Bay

CEO Andy Byford visited the Bombardier plant in Thunder Bay last month to get a first-hand look at the building of the TTC’s Toronto Rocket subway trains and future low-floor streetcars. Byford used the opportunity to chat with workers about the importance of the new fleets to Toronto.

Byford thanked workers for their contribution and encouraged them to continue striving to build high-quality vehicles. The TR delivery program is ongoing at a steady rate, and the first of three prototype low-floor LRVs will be delivered later this year for extensive testing and technology verification.
