TTC takes Spirit of Cricket honours

It is with great pleasure that I wish to inform all the TTC workers of the honour of the TTC cricket team being awarded the Spirit of Cricket Award 2013 at 9th CIMA Mayor’s Cricket Tournament out of the 18 teams that participated. This was most probably in recognition of their sporty attitude in continuing with the game even in adverse weather so that the tournament could be completed, even though this was to their disadvantage and could well be the reason why our team could not reach the finals.

In the capacity of TTC Cricket Manager and Co-ordinator, I wish to take this opportunity to thank the members of TTC Cricket Team for co-operating, attending practices regularly, and their dedication and punctuality in attending the games on time. They have demonstrated and maintained highest standards consistent with the spirit of the game. They have shown their best on and off the field at all times. And they were present at the opening ceremony as proud representatives and ambassadors of the TTC.

Also our very special thanks must go to our CEO Mr. Andy Byford for giving his full support, and even providing us with TTC uniforms, which we were very proud to wear in attending the opening ceremony and during the tournament.

We will be back again next year for the 10th Anniversary of the CIMA Mayor’s Cricket tournament 2014.

Good Luck!
