Toronto’s Chief Planner Jennifer Keesmaat was at St George Station recently. The City Planning Department launched the second phase of its Feeling Congested? campaign on the TTC on June 6.

“Last February, we began talking to people about revenue tools and how to pay for transit. Today, we’re talking to people about priority projects and how we plan our transportation infrastructure,” Keesmaat said. “Our consultations with the public leads up to recommendations to City Council in November around Official Plan policies that will direct decision making for Councillors.”

Volunteers will be back on the system on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, June 11: at Kipling Station from 8-10 a.m.
  • Tuesday, June 11: at Kennedy Station from 4-6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 18: at Downsview Station from 8-10 a.m.
  • Tuesday, June 18: at Bloor-Yonge Station from 4-6 p.m.

The City is encouraging everyone to join the discussion.
