Meet Nathan Brown, TTC flash


Nathan Brown most likely the fastest TTC climber at the annual CN Tower Climb for United Way on Oct. 20. He breezed through 1,776 steps in 14 minutes and 44 seconds. His whole family, in fact, completed the stair climb in under 17 minutes: dad, Jeff (16:04); brother, Christopher (16:38); and mom, Betsy Chou from IT Services (16:45).

“I first started this with Jeff in 2002 when I was seven months pregnant with Nathan; my time was 24:25,” she says.

CEO Andy Byford congratulated the team, and all participants and volunteers.

“I was very proud to be one of the over 100 staff members that scaled the CN Tower on Sunday. I will include a special mention about them in my Toronto Moves column as seen each Friday in the Metro,” he says.
