Councillor Pasternak joins TTC Board

Toronto Councillor James Pasternak joined the TTC Board this month.

City Council voted on July 8 to replace outgoing Commissioner Peter Milczyn with Pasternak, Councillor for Ward 10 York Centre. Councillor Milczyn was elected to serve as MPP for Etobicoke-Lakeshore on June 12.

Commissioner Pasternak will serve until Nov. 30, the term of office for the current Board. He attends his first Board Meeting on July 23.

The Aug. 19 meeting is the last TTC Board Meeting scheduled until after the Oct. 27 municipal election. Board Meetings will resume on Dec. 9.
