Lisa Krygsveld stresses safety at work and under water

With more than 13,000 employees, the TTC is full of interesting people with great stories to tell. Off the clock: Your Stories is a video series celebrating employees who are involved in the community, have an inspiring story, or just have an interesting passion or hobby to share.

Lisa Krygsveld is a Safety Education Specialist at Training and Development. She develops and delivers health and safety programs to staff and Joint Health and Safety Committee members. Of her work, Lisa says, “the part I like best is when my students tell me they not only learned something from my class, but were able to improve their workplace because of it; that’s incredibly rewarding.” When off-duty, Lisa is a SCUBA diving instructor, teaching new divers the skills to stay safe under water and protect the environment.
