Starting on Sunday, October 9, the TTC will be making the following service adjustments:

LINE 4 SHEPPARD
OPTO will begin operation on Line 4 Sheppard starting with the October Board Period on Sun., Oct. 9. With OPTO technology, Subway Operators will be required to safely drive the train and operate the doors. A Subway Guard will no longer be onboard. Operator cabs on Line 4 trains have been equipped with both left- and right-side door control buttons and multi-view cameras and in-cab monitors so Operators can activate the doors while seated at all times.
