February Board Period Service Changes
Starting on Sunday, February 12, the TTC will be making the following service adjustments:
MAJOR SERVICE CHANGES
37 Islington – 37C (Islington Stn-Steeles & Kipling) limited-service branch eliminated and replaced by service on 37B (Islington Stn-Steeles) main branch.
52 Lawrence West – 52F (Lawrence Stn-Royal York) branch will change to terminate at Royal York Road and loop around via Braecrest Avenue
72 Pape – adjustments will be made to service in the morning and afternoon peak periods to improve service reliability and increase service to Commissioners Street. The 72C (Pape Stn-Commissioners) branch will be operated in the peak periods, instead of the 72A (Pape Stn-Eastern) branch.
199 Finch Rocket – service will be increased on the 199B (York University-Scarborough Centre Stn) branch to reduce crowding in response to strong ridership on this new service.
511 Bathurst – New 511C (Bathurst Stn-King) limited-service branch introduced.
SERVICE CHANGES
15 Evans
- Service reduction
Customer impact: moderate
Effective date: February 13
Service in the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday will be reduced, so that resources can be used on other routes. Service will change to 17 minutes from every 12-to-13 minutes.
20 Cliffside
- Service increase
Customer impact: minor
Effective date: February 13
An additional trip will be added at start of the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday, to better serve dismissal time at the Scarborough Centre for Alternative Studies. The new eastbound/northbound trip will begin at Birchmount Avenue and Highview Road at 3:15 p.m. and will operate to Kennedy Station. The bus will serve the stop at the school, at Verdun Avenue, at 3:28 p.m.
23 Dawes

Customer impact: moderate
Effective date: February 13
Schedules will be changed throughout the day from Monday to Friday, to improve service reliability. Wait times will change slightly in the peak periods, and specific trip times all along the route will change throughout the day.
24 Victoria Park
- Service reallocation

Effective date: February 13
Service along the route will be adjusted to reflect observed ridership during the peak periods from Monday to Friday. There will be an increase in local service, south of Consumers Road and service on the 24B (Victoria Park Stn-Don Mills Stn via Consumers) will be improved. There will be a slightly longer wait for an express bus and for local service north of Consumers Road. Schedules will also be changed at all times to improve service reliability. There will be minor changes to service levels and trip times will change.
26 Dupont

Effective date: February 13
Service in the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday will be reduced, so that resources can be used on other routes. The service will change to every 17 minutes from every 14 minutes.
37 Islington
- Route change
Customer impact: minor
Effective date: February 12
The route will be changed during the late evening on Sunday and holidays. Service on the 37C (Islington Stn-Steeles & Kipling) branch will be replaced with the 37B (Islington Stn-Steeles) branch. With this change, the service will be the same during the late evenings, every day. There will be no change to the 30-minute service north of Rexdale Boulevard, or to the 15-minute combined service between Rexdale Boulevard and Islington Station.
42 Cummer

Three additional Monday-Friday eastbound trips will be added from Finch Station on the 42B (Finch Stn-Kennedy) branch, between approximately 6:55 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., to reduce crowding.
46 Martin Grove

Effective date: February 13
Service in the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday will be reduced, so that the resources can be used on other routes. Service will change to every 11 minutes from every 10 minutes.
52 Lawrence West

Effective date: February 13
The western terminus will change on the 52F (Lawrence Stn-Royal York) service, which will terminate at Royal York Road and Lawrence Avenue West and will turn around via Braecrest Avenue. The routing would be from Lawrence Station, west on Lawrence Avenue West, through Lawrence West Station, west on Lawrence Avenue West, south on Royal York Road, west on Braecrest Avenue, and return east on The Westway and Lawrence Avenue West.
72 Pape

Customer impact: moderate
Effective date: February 13
Service in the peak periods will be changed to provide more frequent service on Commissioners Street to better balance customer crowding on the two branches. Changes will also be made to improve service reliability:- The 72C (Pape Stn-Commissioners) branch will be operated instead of the 72A (Pape Stn-Eastern) branch during peak periods.
- The 72B (Pape Stn-Union Stn via Commissioners and Queens Quay) will continue to operate at all times.
73 Royal York
- Schedule change
Customer impact: minor
Effective date: February 13
The Monday through Friday southbound trip from Trehorne Drive serving the Scarlett Heights Entrepreneurial Academy, will operate a few minutes later to better serve students following their 3:15 p.m. dismissal. The current trip at 3:15 p.m. will now operate eight minutes later at 3:23 p.m.
95 York Mills

Effective date: February 13
Schedules will be changed to improve service reliability. Service levels will change slightly and individual trip times will change. In the afternoon peak period, local service will continue to operate every foru-to-five minutes and the express service will improve to every nine-to-10 minutes from every 12 minutes.
108 Downsview

Effective date: February 13
Service in the midday from Monday to Friday will be increased, to reduce crowding. Combined service on the route will change to every seven-to-eight minutes from every nine minutes.
110 Islington South
- Schedule change
Customer impact: minor
Effective date: February 13
A later Monday-Friday southbound trip on the 110B (Islington Stn-Long Branch via Horner & 30th Street) branch will leave Islington Station at approximately 7:05 p.m., replacing a trip on the 110A (Islington Stn-Long Branch via Horner & Browns Line) branch.
165 Weston Rd North

Customer impact: minor
Effective date: February 13
Schedules will be adjusted in the midday from Monday to Friday to eliminate an eastbound gap from 10:22 a.m. to 10:42 a.m. at Sheppard Avenue West. There will be no change to overall service levels, but individual trip times may change.
169 Huntingwood

Customer impact: moderate
Effective date: February 12
Schedules on Sunday and holidays will be changed so that buses departing from Scarborough Centre Station will be 10 minutes later, to reduce crowding on the bus platform. There will be no change to the headway of 30 minutes.
191 Highway 27 Rocket

Effective date: February 13
Schedules will be changed to improve service reliability. Service levels will change slightly and individual trip times will change.
199 Finch Rocket
- Service reallocation
Customer impact: moderate
Effective date: February 13
Service during peak periods and midday from Monday to Friday will be adjusted to reflect observed ridership, and to improve service reliability. Service to York University on the 199B (Scarborough Centre-York University via Finch Stn express) branch will be increased to reduce crowding. Service will operate seven-to eight minutes in the morning peak period, every nine-to-10 minutes in the midday and every 11 minutes in the afternoon peak period. Service to Morningside Heights on the 199C (Morningside Heights-Finch Stn express) branch will change to operate every 10 minutes during the morning peak period and every 14 minutes in the afternoon peak period.
505 Dundas

Effective date: February 13
Service will be temporarily reduced in the midday from Monday to Friday, because of a shortage of streetcars. The service will change to every six-to-seven minutes from every six minutes.
511 Bathurst
- Temporary service reallocation
Customer impact: moderate
Effective date: February 12
Service will be reallocated on this route with the introduction of the 511C (Bathurst Stn-King) branch. During the peak periods and midday from Monday to Friday service will be reduced between King Street and Exhibition Loop, and service from Bathurst Station to King Street will improve slightly. During the daytime on Saturday, Sunday and holidays, service will be reduced.
HOLIDAY SERVICE CHANGES
Family Day – Monday, February 20
A regular holiday service will be operated on most TTC routes (see below for exceptions).
The TTC has designated Mon., Feb. 20, as a holiday for its employees, and there will be a special holiday sign-up, using holiday crewing rules. Service details:
