January 2018 Board Period Service Changes

Starting on Sunday, January 7, the TTC will be making the following service adjustments:

14 Glencairn

Service reliability improvement – Metrolinx construction
Customer impact: Moderate
Effective date: January 8, 2018
Schedules on this route will be adjusted from Monday to Friday to reduce delays from traffic congestion related to Metrolinx Line 5 Crosstown construction at Eglinton Avenue West and Chaplin Crescent. Scheduled service in the peak periods will improve to every 16 minutes, and service in the off-peak periods will be slightly widened to every 24-to-27 minutes.

33 Forest Hill

Customer impact: Minor
Effective date: January 7, 2018
Schedules will be adjusted on this route to reflect the temporary routing being operated via Mayfair Avenue and Shallmar Boulevard for Line 5 Crosstown construction. In order to reduce congestion, the northern terminus of the route will change from Roselawn Avenue and Chaplin Crescent to Mayfair Avenue and Vesta Drive.

42 Cummer

City construction ends 
Customer impact: Moderate
Effective date: January 8, 2018
Ministry of Transportation work on the McNicoll Bridge over Hwy. 404 will end and schedules will be adjusted. The 42C (Finch Stn-Victoria Park) service will continue to operate in the peak periods, and service in all periods will also continue to operate on the 42A (Finch Stn-Middlefield/Dynamic) routing due to the construction for McNicoll Garage.

49 Bloor West

Service changes
Customer impact: Minor
Effective date: January 8, 2018
Monday-Friday service will be reduced at the end of the morning peak period, and will be increased at the end of the afternoon peak period. Schedules will be adjusted and individual trip times will change.

75 Sherbourne

Service changes
Customer impact: Minor
Effective date: January 7, 2018
Minor reductions will be made to service, particularly north of Sherbourne Station in the early morning and late evening. Overall service levels will be the same for trips south of Sherbourne Station.

80 Queensway

Service reliability improvement 
Customer impact: Moderate
Effective date: January 8, 2018
Schedules on this route will be adjusted from Monday to Friday to improve service reliability. Service will operate every 30 minutes all day from Monday to Friday.

300 Bloor-Danforth

Schedule change 
Customer impact: Minor
Effective date: January 8, 2018
In order to improve accommodation for customers, the 3:53 a.m. eastbound trip departing Terminal 3 at Pearson International Airport will be changed to 4 a.m. There will be no other changes to trip times or service levels.
