Collective Bargaining Agreements

The TTC and its four unions have been negotiating since early March in an attempt to reach new collective agreements, all of which expired on March 31.

Dear Colleagues,

The TTC and its four unions have been negotiating since early March in an attempt to reach new collective agreements, all of which expired on March 31.

I am pleased to announce collective agreements have been reached and ratified with IAMAW Lodge 235, CUPE Local 5089 and CUPE Local 2. And today, the TTC Board ratified a fourth agreement – one that was reached last week with ATU Local 113.

The membership of Local 113 will hold a ratification vote on Friday (May 16), after which we will be in a position to share the details of each contract with you.

Needless to say, all parties are pleased to have reached negotiated settlements; it is a testament to everyone’s hard work and determination to bargain collectively as we work towards our vision of a transit system that makes Toronto proud.
