CEO year-end holiday message, Ho! Ho! Ho!

Hi everyone, it’s Andy Byford here with an end-of-year message for all TTC employees.

Well, what a fabulous year 2015 has been for our company. We secured a record budget increase from City Council and that enabled us to roll out huge amounts of new service on our surface network, and to improve the subway.

Meanwhile, on our mega-projects, the Spadina Extension is coming along well, we’ve been rolling out new streetcars and progressing with the Line 1 re-signalling project. Union Station was completed at we’ve now got partial occupancy of Leslie Barns, so a huge amount of progress across the piece.

In addition to that we delivered a stellar Pan Am Games, and to top it all off, we are now at record customer satisfaction for the company. So that’s down to you and the hard work that you’ve done, and I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone at the TTC for what has been a great year.
