Manager, CEO Business Support and Council Relations

I am pleased to announce that Jenny Matharu will be joining the CEO’s Office (Chief of Staff) in the new position of Manager, CEO Business Support and Council Relations, effective June 5, 2017.

Dear Colleagues

I am pleased to announce that Jenny Matharu will be joining the CEO’s Office (Chief of Staff) in the new position of Manager, CEO Business Support and Council Relations, effective June 5, 2017.

Jenny joins us from Property, Planning and Development (EC&E Group), where she has worked for the past four years, most recently as Development Co-ordinator, responsible for managing the review of multi-million-dollar third party projects involving TTC capital. One of her key roles was to collaborate and motivate internal and external stakeholders to seek problem resolution on difficult property issues. While there, she implemented new processes to increase efficiency within the wider property program and introduced programs to improve collaboration, education and team-building in her department.

Previously, Jenny worked as a Development Planner for the Region of Peel, gaining an understanding of the municipal system and City Council.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from York University and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning Degree from Queen’s University.

We are excited that Jenny is joining the CEO’s Office. Her experience with issues management and council relations will be invaluable as we continue to professionalize and transform how we interact with stakeholders.

Please join me in welcoming Jenny to her new role.
