Message from the Executives
TTC welcomes new Deputy Chief Customer Officer
Please join me in welcoming Kathleen Llewellyn-Thomas to the TTC as Deputy Chief Customer Officer. Kathleen joins us this Monday, September 10.
Kathleen, who is a Professional Engineer, graduated from Queen’s University and comes to the TTC with an impressive background of executive-level experience. She served Metro Toronto/City of Toronto for 27 years before her appointment as Commissioner of Transportation and Community Planning for York Region, and has most recently been the General Manager of Arts, Culture and Community Services with the City of Vancouver. Kathleen’s vast municipal level experience also includes executive roles at the City of Halifax and Toronto Community Housing.
Kathleen will report to Kirsten Watson, Deputy CEO and Chief Customer Officer, and sit on the TTC Executive.
Strategy and Service Planning, Customer Service and Customer Development will report directly to Kathleen, while Kirsten works with me on providing greater oversight on day-to-day operations.
Richard J. Leary
