Staffing announcement in Strategy and Customer Experience Group

I am excited to announce the addition of a new Department Head to the Strategy and Customer Experience team, effective Monday, September 20, 2021. Leslie Millan has been selected as the new Head of Marketing and Customer Experience taking on the role upon Deborah Brown’s upcoming retirement.

Leslie is an experienced public sector marketing and communications professional in transit and healthcare, and brings proven team leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for the TTC. She was selected through an in-depth recruitment process.

Leslie has held a number of senior marketing roles in both the public and private sector. She will be joining us from Metrolinx where she spent the past four years as Senior Manager, Brand Portfolio and Strategy. In that role, she was responsible for Metrolinx, Presto, UP Express and GO Transit Annual Brand Plans, including new product, policy and partnership campaigns.

Before joining Metrolinx, Leslie spent a decade at the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care with the Government of Ontario where she held a variety of increasingly senior strategy and integrated marketing positions. Prior to joining Government, Leslie worked in the private sector at Top Tier advertising agencies where she honed her client management skills.

Leslie received her Bachelor of Applied Arts – Marketing and Communications from Ryerson University. She has received numerous awards for her work over her career.

Deb Brown will be retiring from her role as Head, Marketing and Customer Experience for the TTC on September 24. I want to take this opportunity to thank Deb for her years of service. And on behalf of her TTC family, I would like to wish Deb a happy and healthy retirement.
