From the Service Delivery Group
To Operators and Collectors
The grace period for obtaining a Support Person Assistance Card has been extended from March 29, 2014 until April 30, 2014.
During the extended period, please continue to accept the word of customers who say they require a Support Person. If they identify a Support Person who is travelling with them, exempt the identified person from paying a fare.
Please take the opportunity to remind customers without cards that they have until April 30, 2014 to obtain one. Failing to produce a card after April 30, 2014 will result in their Support Person having to pay a fare.
Cards will be obtained by downloading an application online at ttc.ca, or by visiting the Davisville Customer Service Centre or Sherbourne Station Photo ID Centre.
If you have any questions regarding the extension, or the Support Person Assistance Card program in general, please speak to your divisional or department Manager.
Thank you.
