Post-CBA changes, general increases and special payments


Changes, general increases and special payments resulting from the recently negotiated and ratified collective agreement will be implemented.

Changes, general increases and special payments resulting from the recently negotiated and ratified collective agreement will be implemented according to the following timelines:

ATU LOCAL 113 EMPLOYEES

General Increase

  • New rates effective June 15, 2014 implemented on pay ending June 21, 2014 and DEPOSIT on July 2, 2014.
  • Transit and Wheel Trans Operators, 2% increase.
  • All other employees, excluding Wage Groups 1-3 and Traffic Checkers Wage Group 3P, 1% increase.

Lump Sum Payment

  • For Wage Group 1-3 and Traffic Checkers 3P employees to a maximum of $500 processed on pay ending June 21, 2014 and DEPOSIT on July 2, 2014.

Retro Pay

  • Retro payment of general increase to applicable employees from April 1, 2014 to June 14, 2014 paid on pay ending June 21, 2014 and DEPOSIT on July 2, 2014.

Skilled Trade Premium

  • New premium rates effective April 1, 2014 implemented on pay ending June 21, 2014 and DEPOSIT on July 2, 2014.

CUPE LOCAL 2 EMPLOYEES

General Increase

  • New rates effective June 15, 2014 implemented on pay ending June 21, 2014 and DEPOSIT on July 2, 2014.
  • All employees 1% increase.

Retro

  • Retro payment of general increase from April 1, 2014 to June 14, 2014 paid on pay ending June 21, 2014 and DEPOSIT on July 2, 2014.

Vacation Averaging

  • Vacation at base rate effective June 15, 2014 for pay ending June 21, 2014 and DEPOSIT on July 2, 2014.

Combined Job Rotation and Shift Premium

  • New premium rates effective April 1, 2014 implemented on pay ending June 21, 2014 and DEPOSIT on July 2, 2014.
  • Afternoon Shift – combined values of $1.17 per hour.
  • Night Shift – combined values of $1.95 per hour.

IAMAW LODGE 235 EMPLOYEES

Sunday Premium

  • Pay for work on Sunday at base rate effective June 15, 2014 for pay ending June 21, 2014 and DEPOSIT on July 2, 2014.

Vacation Averaging

  • Vacation at base rate effective June 15, 2014 for pay ending June 21, 2014 and DEPOSIT on July 2, 2014.

CUPE LOCAL 5089 EMPLOYEES

Lump Sum Payment

  • For all employees previously processed on pay ending May 17, 2014 and DEPOSIT on May 22, 2014.

Vacation Averaging

  • Vacation at base rate effective June 29, 2014 implemented on pay ending July 12, 2014 and DEPOSIT on July 17, 2014.

  • All employees 1% increase.

Retro

  • Retro payment of general increase from April 1, 2014 to June 28, 2014 paid on pay ending July12, 2014 and DEPOSIT on July 17, 2014.
