New Corporate Policy – Diversity and Inclusion Policy 10.4.0

We are pleased to announce the TTC’s new Diversity and Inclusion Policy, part of our two-year diversity and inclusion plan. The policy, which focuses on people (one of the seven core strategies within our Five-Year Corporate Plan), is a key element of the TTC’s commitment to develop and embrace a customer-led, diverse and supportive culture, in which good people can thrive and build fulfilling careers.
This policy establishes the TTC’s diversity and inclusion commitments, and the responsibilities of all TTC employees to support these commitments, which include:
- Respecting and valuing the diversity of all TTC customers, employees and contractors;
- Providing services and working in an inclusive and barrier-free manner with all TTC employees, contractors and customers;
- Continuing to attract and retain a qualified workforce that reflects the diverse population we serve at every level of the organization; and
- Across the organization, creating inclusive policies, procedures, processes, programs and services that meet the diverse needs of our business, employees, contractors and customers.
Please find attached a copy of the policy, which can also be found on the TTC intranet (internal website) under Corporate Policies 10.4.0. Please ensure this policy is posted on Safety Bulletin Boards in all your work locations.
