From the Human Resources Department

Dear Colleagues,

Do you ever feel overwhelmed or stressed out at work or at home? Sometimes just practicing some simple coping skills can help when you’re overcome with stress or anxiety. We want to help.

As your employer, we care about your health and well-being. We understand that we need a strong, healthy and supported workforce to achieve our vision of a transit system that makes Toronto proud. That’s why we are introducing our newest wellness initiative, Your Mind. Your Health. and, in partnership with Morneau Shepell, we are inviting all employees to participate in workshops focused on coping and resiliency when you need it most. These workshops will help us better understand how stress impacts us in our work and personal lives, and develop ways to cope and build up resiliency.

Your Mind. Your Health. is about understanding what is within our control when we encounter difficult situations. Learning how to cope with stress takes time, determination and practice. These workshops will help you develop those skills.

Workshops are open to all employees and will be offered on several dates and times and at various locations. Everyone is welcome. Please speak with your team members and peers about the Your Mind. Your Health. program and the opportunity they have to improve their own well-being both at work and at home. More information regarding the specific dates for these workshops will be coming soon (see below).

Thank you,

Gemma Piemontese
