The agreement was approved by the TTC Board today and will take effect April 1, 2018 (retroactive).

The contract is for a four year term, effective April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2022. Wage increases agreed to are as follows:

Protective Services Guards and Transit Enforcement Officers:

  • April 1, 2018 - 1.25%

  • April 1, 2021 - 1.25% + 0.25% Lump Sum

Transit Fare Inspectors:

  • April 1, 2021 - 1.25% + 0.25% Lump Sum

The new collective bargaining agreement establishes a single pay scale for Transit Fare Inspectors, a new short-term disability plan and also includes other improvements to working terms and conditions for both parties.
