VAX AND RIDE VACCINE CLINICS IN THE SUBWAY

Team Toronto, in partnership with the TTC, will operate clinics on a walk-in basis. TTC fare payment is not required. A health card is not required for vaccination. Clinics will offer first, second, third and paediatric COVID-19 vaccines. Both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available.
Station locations: Sheppard West, Islington, Jane, Sheppard-Yonge, St Clair West, Bathurst, Kennedy, Warden, York University and Dufferin.
Time: 12 noon to 7 p.m.

MOUNT DENNIS EARTH DAY COMMUNITY CLEANUP

Mount Dennis Recreation Committee is spearheading clean-up efforts in the surrounding neighbourhood, with many TTC volunteers and family members chipping in.
Location: 1500 Jane St. (Jane/Trethewey).
Time: 9 a.m. Free community barbecue at 11 a.m.

APRIL 28 IS NATIONAL DAY OF MOURNING

Thursday, April 28 is National Day of Mourning. Across Canada, it’s a day to remember those who were killed or seriously injured in the workplace. Flags at the TTC will be lowered to half-mast as a solemn tribute to those in our workforce who have died or suffered a serious injury or illness.

TTC Talent Management is hosting a public speakers/career forum focusing on women interested in the role of Operator. Guest speakers include: CEO Rick Leary, Chief Diversity and Culture Officer Keisha Campbell, Recruiter Elizabeth Martillo, Chief Instructor Barbara Battistuzzi, Streetcar Transportation Head Deborah Lyon, Operator Tia Anandjit, Diversity Consultant BaharTajrobehkar and Corporate Communication Head Shabnum Durrani.
