TTC FAMILY DAY PICNIC AT CANADA’S WONDERLAND
Courtesy of the TTC Recreation Council.
Location: Canada’s Wonderland.
Cost: $50 per ticket with $5 from each ticket sale will go to the TTC/United Way Campaign. Time: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; picnic lunch at the Courtyard picnic area from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Splashworks included from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Limited number of tickets available so please contact your Recreation Committee members. Parking not included.

FREE WARRIORS’ DAY RIDES FOR MILITARY AND VETERANS
In honour of Warriors’ Day, the TTC will offer free rides to active members of the Canadian military and veterans, along with one companion each, on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Canadian military members, veterans and peacekeepers are required to show their service medals/ribbons to receive free access to TTC vehicles and stations. The 2022 Warriors’ Day Parade at the Canadian National Exhibition will be held in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the parade.

BACKPACKS & SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE – A COMTO event
For the third year, volunteer organizers at the TTC are supporting the Toronto and Region Chapter of Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) with its backpack and fundraising drive. The drive collects new backpacks filled with school supplies for children and youth (kindergarten to Grade 12) in Neighbourhood Improvement Areas in Toronto.
Drop-0ff locations: Head Office, Transit Control, 1835 Yonge, 5140 Yonge and Hillcrest.

TTC/BLUE JAYS DAY FOR UNITED WAY – A TTC/United Way event
Employees and pensioners and family and friends are invited to the Blue Jays vs Angels game on Saturday, August 27.
Location: Rogers Centre, (200 level outfield seating).
Cost: $50 per ticket with $5 from each ticket sale will go to the TTC/United Way Campaign.
Game time: 3:07 p.m.
