MEETING OF THE TTC BOARD
The TTC Board meeting will be the first to transition to a hybrid model, whereby Commissioners will have the option to attend in-person or remotely. The public also has the option to attend and make deputations in-person or depute virtually. The last time the TTC Board met in-person was on Tuesday, February 25, 2020.
Location: Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W., Council Chamber. The meeting will also be live-streamed on the Official TTC YouTube Channel.
Time: 10 a.m.

UNDERGROUND FREEDOM TRAIN RIDE/EMANCIPATION DAY
The TTC is proud to be supporting and participating in the 10th annual underground freedom train ride to celebrate Emancipation Day on August 1. The Emancipation Day Freedom Ride is an in-person event this year.
Time: 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 31.
Location: Line 1 Yonge-University, Union to Sheppard West stations.
The 10th annual midnight train ride in the TTC subway, hosted by the Blackhurst Cultural Centre (formerly known as A Different Booklist Cultural Centre), welcomes Emancipation Day on Aug. 1 and marks the role of the Underground Railroad in Canadian history. Celebrations include: singing, poetry readings and drum playing. The event is open to the public. Honouring Emancipation Day reminds us of how important it is to combat anti-Black racism and to eliminate discrimination in all its forms in our communities as well as our workplaces.

TTC FAMILY DAY PICNIC AT CANADA’S WONDERLAND

Location: Canada’s Wonderland.
Cost: $50 per ticket with $5 from each ticket sale will go to the TTC/United Way Campaign. Time: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; picnic lunch at the Courtyard picnic area from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Splashworks included from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Limited number of tickets available so please contact your Recreation Committee members. Parking not included.

TTC/BLUE JAYS DAY FOR UNITED WAY – A TTC/United Way event
Employees and pensioners and family and friends are invited to the Blue Jays vs Angels game on Saturday, August 27.
Location: Rogers Centre, (200 level outfield seating).
Cost: $50 per ticket with $5 from each ticket sale will go to the TTC/United Way Campaign.
Game time: 3:07 p.m.
