Donald Morton

Donald Morton, retired General Manager of Facilities, died on October 28, 2022 at the age of 85. Mr. Morton joined the TTC in 1961 as a Structural Engineer in the Engineering Department. From 1965 to 1974, he served as Assistant Manager – Engineering and Chief Design Engineer. In 1981, he became Manager of Engineering. After three years as Manager of the Administration Department, Mr. Morton was promoted to General Manager of the Engineering and Construction Branch in 1986. In 1994, he became General Manager of the Facilities Branch and held that position until his retirement in 1996.
