Anna Pace

Head of Strategic Partnerships

Engineering, Construction and Expansion Group

The TTC is pleased to announce the appointment of Anna Pace as Head of the newly created Strategic Partnerships Department. The appointment was effective on Dec. 16, 2012.

Pace was previously Director and Deputy Chief Program Manager, Strategic Partnerships, Transit Expansion Department for the LRT program since 2009.

Prior to joining the TTC, she was Manager of Transportation Planning in the City of Toronto Planning Department, and previously Metro Toronto Planning Department. From 2001 to 2009, Pace worked in the City Manager’s Office in Intergovernmental Relations on a range of projects, primarily dealing with transit funding from the federal and provincial governments.

Strategic Partnerships consists of three sections: Community Relations; Communications; and Property, Permits and Approvals. The department was established to provide specialized expertise to work with City Councillors, the public and City and agency staffs through the concept development, planning, design and construction of projects in collaboration with the project teams.

The successful community relations and property, permits and approvals programs developed by the TTC for the LRT program (transferred to Metrolinx in 2012) and best practices gathered from other agencies and transit projects are being developed into a new approach for TTC construction projects.
