Jim Teeple

The TTC is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Teeple as Deputy Chief Operating Officer in the Operations and Safety Group. The appointment was effective on Dec. 11, 2011.

Teeple was serving as Acting Deputy General Manager – Rail since December 2010. As Deputy COO, he is responsible for Plant Maintenance, Rail Cars and Shops, Rail Infrastructure (amalgamation of Track and Structure and Signal/Electrical/Communications) and Rail Transportation departments. He reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

Teeple began his career with the TTC in the Streetcar Way Department in 1997. He was promoted to Superintendent – Streetcar Way in 1999. He held that position until being tapped to head the Track and Structure Department in 2008.
