Back to school and TIFF

This week has been a big one for the TTC. With school returning and the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) opening, we know that our ridership will increase as it typically does in September. In response, service has increased on all modes.

Employees across the TTC have been working hard to make sure that we are fully prepared to welcome everyone back, and I want to acknowledge the efforts made across the organization.

Vaccine clinics at the TTC

Following the success of vaccination clinics at TTC stations last year and earlier this year, the TTC will host eight pop-clinics for employees, their families and customers from September 8 to September 25. In partnership with Toronto Public Health (TPH), first doses, second doses, boosters, as well as pediatric doses of Pfizer, Pediatric Pfizer and Moderna will be available (details below).

And finally, on Wednesday September 14 the TTC is officially kicking off its 2022 TTC/United Way Campaign with a pep-rally and kick-off BBQ at Hillcrest Complex (details below).

UPCOMING COVID-19 VACCINE CLINICS
Held in partnership with Toronto Public Health (TPH) to hold drop-in vaccination clinics at several subway stations. First, second and booster doses will be administered. Moderna, Pfizer and Pediatric Pfizer will be available. No appointment needed. Open to anyone aged five or older.
September 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23: Bathurst, Islington, Union and York University stations.
September 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25: Jane, Sheppard West, St Clair West and Warden stations.
Time: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
