Message from the CEO

It’s day two for me as interim CEO at the TTC. I’m honoured to take on this role, and I wanted to reach out to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about my priorities over the next few months.

I have spent my entire 40-plus-year career in the Canadian railway sector. My focus throughout has always been on safety and improving customer experience – these are the things I plan on working on here as well.

I have always been impressed with the work done by the TTC and the service you provide. I know a lot goes into putting this service together, and I am looking forward to meeting people from across the organization in the coming weeks and months.

Every day is an opportunity to learn more about the TTC team and your role in it. The true value of all the many parts of the TTC happens when we all behave as an integrated whole, with no part more or less important than the other parts of the company. The TTC team is and always will be one team!

If you see me in your building, main shop, subway, bus, or streetcar, please stop, say hi, and introduce yourself. I have a history of being a doer, so I am here to make sure we keep improving. I look forward to hearing your ideas on how, together, we can bring back the pride and swagger at the TTC and the respect from our customers.
