Customer satisfaction surveys cover various aspects of our business

Starting this week, TTC riders are welcome to participate in the COMET (subway service) and GOAL (bus and streetcar service) customer satisfaction surveys. The surveys cover various aspects of our business, such as reliability, availability, accessibility, and security.

The TTC is among many transit systems in North America and internationally participating in this initiative. These surveys allow us to benchmark our customer satisfaction feedback against the results from other agencies to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.

The short surveys are available from the homepage at ttc.ca until May 19.

Look ahead for these campaigns
As part of the larger Health and Safety campaign that kicks off next week, Safety and Environment and Occupational and Employee Well-being have teamed up this year for a series of wellness pop-ups, starting on May 5, to support Mental Health Week. During the wellness pop-ups, employees get an opportunity to learn about the many resources available to support your health, safety and well-being. Bring your questions, ideas, and curiosity to learn how you are supported to thrive both at work and at home.

With May around the corner, we’ll soon be celebrating and recognizing Asian Heritage Month. This year, we’re bringing you more opportunities to engage. Post a message onto a wishing tree that will be installed in common employee locations or join the virtual lunch and learn on May 6 or attend the event at Wilson Division on May 16 for an evening of Asian heritage, food, and games. Look for spotlights of employees of Asian heritage in upcoming Weekly editions.

Monday is National Day of Mourning
I want to remind everyone that the TTC is lowering its flags to half-mast on National Day of Mourning on Monday, April 28, as a tribute to those in our workforce who died or suffered a serious injury or illness.

On National Day of Mourning, we encourage our employees to remember their colleagues and take a personal moment to reflect on the importance of safety at the TTC. Removing barriers to safe work ensures that all employees return home in the same condition they arrived for work.
