Earlier this week, I was pleased to be with TTC Chair Jamaal Myers and Executive Team members for the unveiling of a special plaque and time capsule commemorating the 100th anniversary of Hillcrest, which took place in 2024.

The plaque is located on the outside wall of the Inglis Building near the main entrance. It marks the location of the time capsule. The capsule includes items donated by Hillcrest employees, such as past and present uniform pieces, group photos, Hillcrest-100 commemorative pins, and more.

Thank you to everyone who contributed items and suggestions, and a special thanks Plant Maintenance for this important installation.

In April, think Earth and records management
​April is Earth Month – a time to reflect on the actions we can take to help the environment. April is also Records and Information Management Month. Throughout the month, the Records and Information Management team will be sharing best practices to help us best manage the company records, documents, and information we handle daily. Please look for more information on both these initiatives as it becomes available.

APTA International Bus Roadeo
​This weekend, our 2024 Roadeo transportation and maintenance champions will represent the TTC at APTA’s 2025 International Bus Roadeo. Let’s all wish our competitors a safe and successful trip to Austin, Texas. Good luck to Queensway Operator Rob Kempers and Mount Dennis Coach Technicians Rick DiSanza, Hanson Wong, and K. J. Jairam.
