Message from the Executives
Office of the Chief Executive
The Employee Engagement Survey is now live, and we want to hear from you.
This is your chance to help shape a better TTC by sharing your experiences and ideas. Your feedback will guide how we work together and drive meaningful organizational improvements. Much has changed since our last survey. With the launch of our new Corporate Plan in 2024, we’ve focused on greater transparency, clear action plans, and accountability. Your input is key to making that vision a reality.
The survey takes less than 10 minutes and is entirely confidential. Ipsos, an independent third party, is conducting the survey and follows strict privacy and data standards to protect everyone’s confidentiality. No identifiable or individual data is shared with the TTC.
A link was e-mailed to all staff with TTC e-mail addresses, and QR codes are posted in your work areas for those without e-mail. Let’s aim for full participation. We want to hear from everyone!
Indigenous Youth Vendor Fair
Earlier this week, the TTC hosted an Indigenous Youth Vendor Fair at Hillcrest. Employees had the opportunity to experience Indigenous food, buy handcrafted items, and enjoy performances celebrating the strength and culture of Indigenous communities. The TTC is honoured to partner with the Indigenous community, amplifying young Indigenous voices and building a future-ready world together. Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in this very uplifting celebration.
Participate in the Pride Parade
Toronto’s Pride Parade is the place to be on Sunday, June 29, and the TTC is proud to participate once again. We invite 250 employees and guests to march alongside our Pride-themed bus in one of the city’s most exciting celebrations. Everyone is welcome to register at bit.ly/ttcpride2025. Free TTC Pride t-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to our participants. I invite everyone to be loud, proud, and All In for Pride! For more information, contact Events’ Sandy Tsirlis at sandy.tsirlis@ttc.ca.
There’s a lot happening across the TTC right now – from sharing your voice to celebrating together. These are all chances to be heard, contribute, and show up for each other as we shape a more inclusive and responsive organization. I encourage everyone to get involved and help move the TTC forward – together.
