Congratulations to all the 2024 Rewards and Recognition winners who were honoured earlier this week. The TTC celebrated your outstanding work achievements in Safety, Customer Service, Leadership, Diversity, Teamwork, and Innovation and Sustainability.

Thank you for your excellence, your passion, and your continued service. The awards ceremony is a chance to recognize the people who go above and beyond – leaders who support their teams and make a real difference in the lives of our customers and communities. You make the TTC not just a workplace, but a community – and a world-class transit system.

We also extend thanks to the family members and loved ones who joined us on May 5. Their support plays a vital role in the success of our employees, and that did not go unnoticed.

WTS International Annual Conference
​The WTS International Annual Conference wraps up in Toronto today – the first time it’s being held outside the U.S.

This conference brings together professionals across all sectors and modes of transportation, representing provinces, states, and countries. This year’s theme is The WTS Mosaic: Mobility and Momentum, reflecting the diversity, innovation, and progress shaping the transportation industry today.

The TTC is proud to support the conference with technical tours, an onsite information kiosk, and employees who are actively contributing on panels.

Upcoming Board meeting
​The next TTC Board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14. Reports under consideration include Transit Priority Measures on Dufferin Street and Bathurst Street, the TTC Commuter Parking Lot Strategy, and a final report on the Benefits of Transit Investment Phase 2 Project. The public meeting will be live-streamed on the Official TTC YouTube Channel starting at 10 a.m.
