FROM THE DCEO: LEAD participants to visit TTC

TTC welcomes new group of Leadership Exchange and Development Program participants.

I’m pleased to share that we will be welcoming a new group of Leadership Exchange and Development Program (LEAD) participants to the TTC.

From September 14-19, approximately 21 LEAD participants will be touring our worksites and engaging with several of the industry’s top leaders. Following a detailed selection process, this year’s cohort includes our very own Eric Chu, Head of Transportation, Planning and Engineering, and Steve Cuschieri, Head of Vehicle Maintenance. Previous cohorts also included TTC leaders, such as Rich Wong, Chief Transportation and Vehicles Officer, who participated in the 2017-2019 program.

About LEAD
The 1.5-year Leadership Exchange and Development Program supports experienced transit leaders from across North America as they advance their careers. By engaging with industry peers, participants gain insights and best practices across the several key areas of successful transit:

• Operations and maintenance.
• Planning.
• Safety.
• Administration.
• Customer Experience.

We’ve proudly hosted LEAD participants in past years, and I look forward to welcoming this year’s senior leaders. If you see the group in your work area, please take a moment to introduce yourself and support knowledge-sharing across our transit network.

If you have any questions, please connect with Employee Development Specialist Tammy Smith.
