FROM THE CEO: An exceptional United Way season

This past September, we kicked off the United Way campaign at Hillcrest Complex. Together, we set an ambitious goal to raise $800,000 to strengthen our community and help people in need. We challenged ourselves to give hope and change lives.

Once again, when called upon, you rose to the occasion. Once again, you organized fundraising efforts, hosted events, donated generously, and helped spread the word. And now, once again, TTC employees have not only met our goal, but surpassed it.

Together, we have raised $806,027.62. This is a truly remarkable outcome, particularly as we are one of the only City of Toronto agencies to have increased our donations this year.

This achievement reflects far more than a dollar figure. It reflects the depth of care this organization has for the city we serve.

United Way Greater Toronto directly supports families, newcomers, youth, seniors, and community programs across Toronto. Our contribution this year will help ensure that even more people have access to the supports they need to thrive.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our campaign leads, Union partners, and every department that rallied behind this effort. Your leadership, commitment, and enthusiasm were instrumental in driving this campaign forward.

This result is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together with purpose. Thank you for giving hope and changing lives this year.
